Move your library from Goodreads or StoryGraph
Bring your books, reads, ratings and shelves with you. Nothing already in your Sifria library is overwritten, and you can undo the whole import afterwards.
Get your export file
Goodreads: on the Goodreads website, open My Books → Import and export → Export library. When the file is ready, download it.
StoryGraph: open Manage account → Export StoryGraph library, then download the file.
Start the import in Sifria
In Sifria, open More → Import from Goodreads or StoryGraph and upload the file you downloaded (up to 20 MB).
Choose what your shelves become
The usual shelves are mapped for you:
In Goodreads or StoryGraph In Sifria Read In your library, marked read Currently reading In your library, reading To read Your wishlist, or your library if you own it Did not finish Set aside For each shelf of your own, choose whether it becomes a Sifria shelf or marks its books as set aside. Then let Sifria check your books.
Review your books
Sifria matches every book against its catalog. You can leave the screen while it works; we email you when your import is ready to review.
The results come in groups: To import, As manual books, Already in your library and Needs your attention. For a book that needs your attention you can pick the right edition, fix its ISBN, title or author, add it as a manual book, or dismiss it.
Import
Confirm the import, and your books, reads, ratings and shelves arrive in your library.
Changed your mind?
Until the date the app shows, you can undo the import: it removes the books, reads and shelves it added. Anything you changed or added since stays.
